Super duper quick preview of this past Saturday's epic Catholic/Indian wedding. I'm going to work hard on getting the detailed blog post up early next week *crosses fingers*. Soraya and Viral: hands-down FUNNIEST couple ever and are dear, dear friends of mine now. These two are made for each other (and I know what Viral is thinking right now - "No we're not!!!"). Shout out to my good friend Kenny Phan for second shooting with me. More to come soon, I gotta get back to album design work!

Karen + Steve's Engagement Session Part 3 - Okay gang, I'm concluding these crazy kids' epic Europe e-session with some of my favorites from London. We woke up extra early the day I was flying back to LAX (while Karen and Steve were getting ready for his cousin's wedding) to get some shots around Big Ben, London Eye, and London Bridge. I think by this point all of us were a bit under the weather (darn that swine flu :P) but we managed to snap away for a few hours before the day got extra busy.

Thanks guys for putting up with me for several days in Paris and London :). I had a great time hanging out with Karen, Steve, and Steve's family who were all in town as well! I can't wait to see you all again at your wedding in November. Btw, all brides and grooms who are super stressed out about planning their wedding need to take a chill pill from Karen and Steve. They are THE MOST super, duper easy-going and relaxed couple ever, which I absolutely love! I'm going to have to steal Steve from Karen sometimes and go check out a Clippers vs. Warriors game, both the ones in LA and Oakland. Sweet!

Sarah + Chris' Wedding: 6/20/2009 - After coming back from Europe, I drove up to Santa Barbara for Sarah and Chris' wedding last weekend at the Canary Hotel. When you talk about an 'ideal' wedding, Sarah and Chris' are definitely at the top of that list. It was very intimate with roughly 50-60 of their closest family and friends that flew in from all over the world (London, South Africa, Canada, and the East Coast just to name a few). This just shows how much Sarah and Chris mean to their guests, who are two super sweet and simply wonderful individuals.

The wedding was also a mini-destination/out-of-town event coupled with beautiful details and a diverse culture of wedding rituals from Chris' side. But more than anything, Sarah and Chris brought their special day to life with their strong yet gentle personalities and love for each other. I just love how both met through the art/literature/education world and are still part of it today, working as professors and writers. As I mentioned in their e-session blog post, I'll always have a soft spot for individuals in the world of teaching and inspiring others. Thank you Sarah and Chris for having me as your wedding photographer. Btw, I absolutely loved their banana/mango centerpieces; they're two of my favorite fruits :D.

Debbie + Brian's Engagement Session Part 2 - This past Friday, I spent about an hour shooting Debbie and Brian's Downtown LA e-session. We had so much fun during part one last month that we had to have a second session.

Look for quite a few blog posts this week. I'm playing catch-up editing and blogging from the past two weeks. Thank you Debbie and Brian for hanging out with me and treating me to an amazing dinner two nights ago :).
