Hey everyone! I NEED a really big favor from all you super kind and giving readers of my blog :). The NBA has just started its dance team bracket, where all 30 basketball teams’ dance squad square off ala tournament style. Fans get to vote on which dance team moves onto the next round and has a chance of becoming the champ. The Clippers Spirit face off against the Laker girls today: March 12th. I’m asking/begging/pleading you to take a few seconds and vote by going to this page :).
The Clipper gals work super hard every single game with their AWESOME dance moves right on Staples Center court. They’ve never ceased to amaze me! So please vote for them if you could spare a minute or two today. I know they’ll really appreciate it and so will I. Thank you! Here are some of my favorite shots of the team from this season. Updated on 3/13/2008 at 12:15PM: The Clippers Spirit beat the Laker Girls 52-48% in the votings and advance to the second round of the dance competition. What a super close race (unlike the three games the Clippers and Lakers have played this season :P). Thank you all to those that took the time to vote. I’ll bug you again in a week or so when the Spirit face off against the winner of tonight’s match-up between the Suns and Timberwolves.
Updated on 3/20/2008 at 12:53AM: Alright guys, I’m going to need your help again. Last week, the Clippers Spirit advanced to the second round of the dance bracket. Today, 3/20, they’ll face the Phoenix Suns’ dance team in the next round of competition. Please go to this site and vote for the Spirit! Help them advance to the Western Conference semi-finals, thanks!

They beat the Suns’ dance team this past weekend and are now in the Western Conference semi-finals against another Pacific division rival, the Golden State Warrior Girls. Please help the Spirit advance to the next round by voting once again here. Let’s help these amazing ladies move onto the Western Conference finals!
Updated on 3/27/2008 at 10:40AM: This totally rocks! The Spirit dance team is in the Western Conference Finals after defeating the Warrior Girls 56-44% yesterday. Check out the bracket below. The next round of voting doesn’t start until Monday, when the Spirit have a chance to make it to the NBA Finals. There’s two Clippers home games coming up, in which I plan on snapping away even more photos than usual to support the Spirit :). So look for those shots Saturday and Monday night. Thank you all!

They will face off against the winner of the Sonics/Rockets’ dance team in the Western Confereince Finals tomorrow. Please remember to vote; I’ll post a link to the page sometime tomorrow morning.
