If I ever get into destination e-sessions and weddings, or at least up in San Fran, I’ll have Shamaya and Rick to thank. I met this super friendly and lovely couple last September while visiting my cousins. We were originally set on having the wedding be next month. But due to other changes in life, Shamaya and Rick have postponed their big day for July 2009. That didn’t stop us from having an e-session this past weekend at three very popular places in SF: Golden Gate Park’s Japanese Tea Garden, Legion Of Honor, and Baker Beach.
S + R will always hold a very special place in my heart (and wedding photography career). They were one of the very first couples to book me (when all I had were a few wedding photos and a lot of nature/architectural/abstract stuff to show them). This is also my first “destination e-session”, so thank you Shamaya and Rick for being the pioneers of my passion :). I admire how you were more than willing to show your affection towards one another, even when we were surrounded by tons of people at the garden and beach. Thank you for picking me up, driving me around your city, and most importantly, sharing your love for each other with me. Many blessings to both of you.

Sorry I didn’t post anything last week :(. It’s been a bit crazy moving back to the coastal area in Southern California, setting things back up, running all the errands associated with moving, and meeting several new and super lovely perspective clients. I also went up to San Francisco this past weekend for an engagment session with Shamaya and Rick. Check back tomorrow or Tuesday for photos. Man the SF weather was PERFECT! In the low-70s during the day, breezy, sunny with clouds in the sky (we never get this in LA), just absolutely beautiful.
It was also great as always seeing my favorite cousins and a very special little one. Thank you Karen and Lily for letting me stay at your lovely apartment and driving me around. Thank you Susie and her husband Eric for inviting me to their home and making some yummy Vietnamese-style wraps :). Also, a super duper thank you to Mary for flying in from Cleveland and hanging out with her family and me. You guys are totally awesome! I hope to see you all again before the year is over. I managed to snap a few shots on Thursday when we all visited the Golden Gate Park:

What a beautiful wedding on Saturday between Adonica and Rafael. Adonica got ready at her aunt’s amazing, historical house in Alta Dena. Both the ceremony and reception were held in lovely Pasadena. Here are some of my favorites. I’m off packing and moving (AGAIN). Cheers!
