It was quite a busy and crazy weekend in Vegas, but Veronica and Jove’s patience and trust in me gave me the inspiration and energy (I was running on all adrenaline after a week of hardly any sleep) to give my all for their e-session. I want to first thank Veronica and Jove for allowing me to do their shoot in Sin City, and also to Jenny (Veronica’s cousin) and Oliver (my Harvey Mudd friend) for lending a much needed pair of helping hands. I couldn’t have done this e-session without all of you :). A quick rundown of where we went: started around 4 at Paris; then went to Lake Las Vegas in Henderson (about 30 minutes south of The Strip; afterwards, we shot inside and outside Caesar’s Palace; and finally ended the e-session at The Vanetian.

I would’ve loved to continue photographing Veronica and Jove all night but there were just far too many people plus we were all getting pretty hungry :P. This was definitely my toughest e-session but also one of the funnest; not just because it was at night and in Vegas, but also because V + J were a joy to work with. Their personalities compliment each other so well. The first thing that comes to my mind when thinkin about Veronica and Jove is how much they like to joke around and laugh at/with each other. I know without a doubt their wedding in April of 2009 will be filled with love, laughter, and joy!

I always feel blessed to work with the most wonderful couples at every wedding, and this past Friday was no exception. I couldn’t have asked for two more fun, easy-going, kind-hearted, and simply amazing individuals than Angelina and Matt. I met them less than two months ago but within that time, I felt like I got the chance to know who they are and what brought them together. It was as though we were long lost friends from elementary school and finally had a chance to catch up! Both Angelina and Matt looked absolutely radiant on their big day. Solana, as always, did an incredible job on Angelina’s make-up. It’s our third straight wedding working together! If there’s someone that really knows how I operate during the getting ready part of a wedding and bringing out the best in the bride, it’s Solana. Also, a special shout out to Miguel for assisting me. I seriously don’t know what I’d do without those two! As far as Matt, he not only matched Angelina’s hotness but raised the stakes with his charm and looks. High five Matt, you looked very sharp!

Angelina and Matt held their wedding ceremony and reception in Newport Beach on a beautiful yacht from Electra Cruises. It was a triple-story boat, with the ceremony on the top floor, dinner on the first, and the dancing on the second. The awesome couple opted to see each other before they tied the knot, which was a definite plus in my books! Kudos to Angelina and Matt for being patient with me, the sun, and the random people at the beach. Thank you guys for trusting me to document your wedding; I hope you’re having a blast in New Mexico right now :).
