Judy + Anthony’s Wedding: 8/23/2009 – You won’t find two nicer, sincere, and truly special individuals in this world than Judy and Anthony. They held a super intimate/small (my favorite!) wedding at Greystone Mansion followed by a yummy dinner reception at Lawry’s in Beverly Hills last Sunday.
Some weddings are more about the decorations/details; some are on the venue or the food; most are on the people and the special moments of the day. Judy and Tony’s fabulous day not only had all those elements, but they headlined it with words, smiles, and tears that transcended many weddings that I’ve worked at. One of those moments I’ll always remember is the best man speech by Rishi (sp?), who talked about his 20+ year friendship with Tony and how proud he is of his childhood best friend. Not to be outdone was Tony’s speech thanking everyone; his words really hit my heart when he talked about his parents and of course his now-wife Judy.
And I’ll never forget what Judy did the very night of her wedding. I got an e-mail from her at around 2AM Sunday night/Monday morning. It truly meant more than words how she took time out of wedding night to say these few words to me:
“Hi Henry:
Thank you for being a part of our wedding day! We’re so thankful that we were able to have you as our photographer because you are awesome! Thank you for bearing with my mustache shots! Having you there made my day more relaxing because you were a familiar face. =)
I’m out of words because I’m so tired, but I really do appreciate you! Thank you for spending such a long day with us!!!

I share this with the wedding world out of humbleness, appreciation, and simply to let everyone know how much I loved working with Judy and Anthony and how they’ll forever hold a special place in my heart. But also to let whoever reads this know how amazing they are.
P.S. Judy’s mustache theme throughout the wedding totally ROCKED :).
