Angela + Michael’s Wedding: 10/24/2010 – Seems like it was just yesterday when I got an e-mail from Angela inquiring about my photography services for her wedding. We’ve been exchanging several dozen e-mails over the past year; an engagement session and bridal shower later, seems like Angela and Michael were some of my oldest friends. Not only did I get a chance to work with them, but at the bridal shower, I had the opportunity to meet Angela’s closest girlfriends, including her bridesmaids, as well as the moms.
So come her big day last Sunday, it truly felt like we continued the celebration from the last time we all hung out. Angela was all smiles and tears from the very second I saw her during the getting ready until the end of the night. While she got ready with the girls, Michael and his gentlemen got suited up at home and waited for the girls to show up at Spanish Hills Country Club.
Originally, Angela and Michael wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other for the first time. But I was able to do a bit of convincing and got them to share a few minutes alone a few hours beforehand ;). It was one of the most emotional and intense first looks I’ve ever photographed. Both Angela and Michael were in tears as their big moment had finally arrived.
The ceremony was played out perfectly, with a touching speech by one of Angela’s closest friends, and a kiss at the end of the receiving line, overlooking the beautiful and classic Spanish Hills architecture. And the reception was, simply put, a PARTY! We had hours and hours of great music and dancing by all the guests (hopefully the dance shots below do some justice to show you how much fun everyone had :P).

I know Angela and Michael have been waiting patiently for me to get this sneak peek up. I hope you guys are enjoying your honeymoon in Cancun, congrats and thanks again for having me as part of your wedding!
