Samantha + Curtis’ Wedding: 5/25/2009 – I confess. I’m absolutely addicted to my rockstar couples and their fabulous weddings! There’s a rule and it’s quite a simple one: anyday is a good day to wed two beautiful individuals. This past Monday, while most were probably BBQ-ing and hitting the beaches, I hit the scenic hills of Malibu to Calamigos Ranch, where I had an amazing time documenting Samantha and Curtis‘ big day. I honestly don’t know what I did (but am so glad I did!) to deserve working with them. I had to pinch myself (as well as steal some of those yummy snacks they had before the ceremony but shhh :P) throughout the day to convince myself all of it was real because everything was just too good to be true.

From the most delicious cupcakes to painted hands on Samantha and the bridesmaids representing her Indian culture. From Curtis’ and the guys’ super relaxed yet formal light brown suits to the photo booth during the reception…and check out Samantha’s killa Jimmy Choo shoes from London. Purple, purple, and more purple. I totally dug the wedding theme colors if I dare say so myself as a guy ;). All in all, I had an unforgettable Memorial Day holiday with Samantha, Curtis, and all their guests. The day went by so perfectly. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day and a more magical backdrop. But it was Samantha and Curtis’ love for each other and their guests that brought this wedding to life. Special thanks to Kelly and the staff at Calamigos Ranch for treating me and my team like guests, and to Samantha and Curtis for inviting me to their wedding as their storyteller. Keep rockin’!
