Anjali + Mohsin’s Engagement Session – These cool kids met almost a decade ago through a mutual friend at a bar, and since then have been inseparable. Anjali and Mohsin are tying the knot later this Labor Day weekend in an epic, legendary, awesome, transcendent, [insert a really cool adjective here] 4-day Indian wedding, and I can’t be more thrilled to photograph it all!

On Sunday, we headed out to Downtown LA, followed by USC (where both of them attended business school), and finally Downtown Long Beach (where they had their first date). Anjali and Mohsin are most definitely still madly in love with one another, which I hope I was able to capture in the photos :). They couldn’t stop laughing, hugging, kissing, and teasing one another. It just made everything that much more fun!

Special thanks to one of Anjali’s bridesmaids Charmen (hope I spelled your name right!) for helping us out. Also to one of my past couples Ruth and Tommy, as I met Anjali and Mohsin through them last November. And of course to Anjali and Mohsin themselves for being super rad during the whole shoot and letting me capture your love. See you guys again in early September. Oh man, those 4 days are going to be AMAAAAAZING!

Sheree + Collin’s Engagement Session – I honestly can’t say enough GREAT things about Sheree and Collin. Maybe it’s how they’re seriously SUPER DUPER easy-going. A few e-mails here and there, a quick meeting, and bam, we made everything official to work together on their big day. Maybe it’s how they don’t take themselves/each other too seriously, sharing so many laughs and rather “interesting” poses during their e-session ;).

Or maybe it’s because they’re simply SO in love with one another, so much that not even the Viceroy Hotel and Venice Canals (where we shot their e-session yesterday at), could contain their affection towards each other (trust me there was quite a bit!). It’s rare couples like Sheree and Collin that bring out the very best in me as a photographer. They live in the moment every second; whether it’s the way they look at each other or touch one another, I couldn’t help but sense so much spark and magic between these two.

Everything from their laugh, personality, and love for culture/travel/NBA (yeah!) is contagious. To say I had a blast getting to know Sheree and Collin would be an understatement. They’ve only been dating for 2 years after finding each other on Match.com (why that company has not interviewed Sheree and Collin is beyond any mystery, because if I saw them on television, I would totally sign up ;P). All I can is I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing them again in September! Special thanks to my good photographer friends Josh and Jill Goodman, two of the kindest individuals I’ve ever met, for referring me to Sheree and Collin.

Jessica + Jonathan’s Engagement Session – It was SO GOOD to finally meet J + J yesterday! They had contacted me towards the end December 2010 inquiring about photography for their wedding at the end of this year. After a few e-mails and a quick phone call, we made everything official and set the date for their e-session. It’s always humbling and certainly rewarding to book wonderful clients just over the web/phone. Thanks Jessica and Jonathan for trusting me!

These two lovebirds have been together for quite a few years, I believe around 10 or so, dating back to their high school days. Although some long distance college days made it a bit difficult for Jessica and Jonathan, they stuck with one another through everything. And alas, last October, Jonathan proposed to Jessica in Boston (where they went to school and currently work at).

They’re big day is in less than seven months, right before the Winter holidays. I couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to have met Jessica and Jonathan, and be the one to capture their wedding! Thanks again J + J…for paying my fuel (that drive from LBC to Calabasas/Malibu took a few minutes :P). I hope your “meeting” today with the in-laws went well ;). Enjoy the sneak peek!

Christine + Richard’s Engagement Session – They were the very first couple to book me for 2011, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see Christine and Richard again yesterday for their e-session shoot. It’s been over a year since I last saw them, which I think is a record with any couple! Christine and Richard had met at work several years ago and will be tying the knot toward the end of this year.

To say Christine and Richard are easy-going and totally down to earth would be a huge understatement. They made the 3-hour shoot seem like a walk in the park (or in our case, a walk through a garden and on the beach :P) for me, as we walked around Descanso Gardens and El Matador Beach.
