Yesterday morning and afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing the Fall line of clothing for XCVI in Downtown Los Angeles. I was referred to them by one of my 2008 brides Angelina (thank you so much!). As some of you guys know, fashion is not not something I shoot too often; my last fashion-related shoot was about a year ago for one of my Clippers Spirit friends. But yesterday was so much fun! It was really neat and just “official” having XCVI hire a professional model (Yolanda) and hair stylist (Betsy Metal of Point De Vue) for the shoot. I also had two of my closest friends and photography colleagues Miguel and Nick help me out. And special thanks to Daniela and Heather of XCVI for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
We had eight outfits to photograph yesterday. Although everyone had to battle with the rain and wind, we worked together as a team efficiently to get all the necessary shots. XCVI needed these images right away since they’ll be using them next week at the MAGIC Fashion and Apparel Trade Show in Las Vegas. I’ll actually be there for WPPI (world’s largest wedding photography convention of the year) but that’s another story :). I just want to thank XCVI for trusting me. I had a blast working with them and hope to do so again in the near future! Without further rambling, here are some of my favorite shots from yesterday; towards the end are some behind-the-scene images taken by either myself, Miguel, or Nick.
Client: XCVI
Model: Yolanda
Hair stylist: Point De Vue

And some behind-the-scene shots; check out the crouching-tiger, hidden-Henry shooting stances :).

Migz and Young Hollywood!

Walking back to the hotel for another outfit change. Look at all those umbrellas!
