Jennifer + Khanh’s Wedding: 1/15/2011 – What a way to kick off the 2011 wedding season with Jennifer and Khanh‘s big day in Redondo Beach. Everything from the getting ready and morning tea ceremony to the afternoon ceremony and reception were all at the Portofino Hotel.

We started the day capturing Jennifer and her seven bridesmaids getting ready while Khanh and his groomsmen were hanging out at the bar (surprise, surprise for the guys!). The tea ceremony started with the traditional games, where the girls had Khanh and the guys do some push-ups, sing, and even give some moolah to them.

Afterward, we grabbed lunch at a nearby Thai restaurant before starting the afternoon festivities. Jennifer and Khanh had a “second” first look, followed by some fun bridal party photos. The highlight of the ceremony was watching Jennifer’s dad give her away to Khanh after they walked down the aisle together. Funny part was when the dad told Khanh (jokingly) he’ll come after him if he ever does something bad to Jennifer.

We witnessed a beautiful ceremony followed by an amazing sunset across the Pacific Ocean horizon, as the venue was right along the water. The reception was filled with countless memorable toasts. I think all the groomsmen (yes, all seven of them!), took turns giving a speech to Jennifer and Khanh. It was really touching hearing all the guys tell the crowd how much Khanh meant to them. Bromance!

The evening ended with everyone celebrating on the dance floor (and at the bar :P). And for me personally, it was great seeing a few familiar faces in the crowd, as both Juna and Paul and Jessica and Rory are work colleagues and high school friends, respectively, with Khanh. Thanks guys for an awesome time on Saturday!
