Jennifer + Khanh’s Engagement Session – I’ve really been looking forward to hanging out with Jennifer and Khanh for quite some time now. I met them in April and here we are seven months later. The funny thing is I’ve actually, coincidentally, ran into Jennifer and Khanh at a few weddings this year, as Khanh is a colleague of one of my past grooms (hi Paul!) and he also went to high school with with one of my past brides (hello Jessica!).

But what’s amazing is how these two amazing individuals met. It was on the Metro when Khanh first laid his eyes on Jennifer. I asked him on Sunday how many times he “noticed” Jen before actually talking to her. His answer was 3, but I have a feeling it was much, much more ;). So it was only fitting that we stop by Union Station for a few shots before heading on over to Khanh’s alma mater UCLA to finish up the e-session.

The only thing that’s more inspiring, incredible, and simply awesome than how Jennifer and Khanh met was the way he proposed to her. He had invited all their close friends to a screening of a short movie at a theater. Little did Jennifer know that Khanh had drawn up a cartoon skit of how they met and with speech bubbles, with the last one asking her to marry him. And she had no idea Khanh would play that movie during the show :). Their proposal story, to this day, is one of my all-time favorites!
