Jenny + Albert’s Engagement Session – Both went to MIT, where they met several years ago. Jenny studied chemistry and Albert studied engineering. So that alone gave us more than enough reason for all us to hang out this past Sunday at Huntington Library and all over Downtown LA. Call it the science and engineering romance in us ;). After shooting for the previous 4 days, I was hoping to have enough energy for Jenny and Albert. But the moment I saw them, A rush of adrenaline and excitement came over me.
And before you know it, we were lying on grass, climbing hills, dodging security, and even hanging off bamboo trees. The weather decided to throw us a curve ball, going from sunny and clear skies to cold and cloudy. But that didn’t deter Jenny and Albert from being all smiles about their e-session. We ended up stopping by the park where 500 Days of Summer was filmed, Union Station, and finally LA Live (where we had to deal with security :P).
I can’t thank Jenny and Albert enough for booking me before even meeting in person, it’s one of the most humbling and awesome feelings ever. And for making the drive from Bakersfield for the shoot! Also, I don’t think I’ll ever pull out a T = R X F (torque = radius cross force) joke ever again like I did with Jenny and Albert, thanks guys for putting up with my cheesy engineering analogies :)!
