You might remember these craaaaazy kids from their e-session earlier in the year. Well, last weekend, starting on Friday, was the beginning of their wedding celebration! Knowing Joe, having a rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and a wedding wasn’t quite enough ;). He put together an absolutely amazing surprise for the love of his life Ivette.

About two weeks before last Friday, Joe had asked some of his vendors to be a part of this special event. He had all his and Ivette’s immediate family members and close relatives attend this gathering. Long story short, everyone except Ivette knew about this. The event started out with Joe singing to Ivette with one of his closest friends/groomsan Jeff playing the guitar. Following that was a special performance by Joe’s dad, who does DJ/MC-ing on the side! He rocked the house by singing a song for the couple.

Then what followed may have been the most emotional thing of the night; Joe had videotaped Ivette’s grandpa saying hello to his grand daughter and how he wished he could’ve made the trip out to So Cal for her wedding :(. Words can’t describe how touching this was. The night ended with one more song/guitar performance by Joe to Ivette – Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”, their first dance song :). Not only was I touched by everything Joe did for Ivette that night, but I was also inspired; to be a better friend, person, and to give my all to that special someone one day.

It’s a huge understatement to say that Joe loves Ivette. And it was quite surreal to see a room filled with family and friends from all over the country/world come by to show their love and support for the soon-to-be newlyweds; check back very soon for their wedding photos :).
