Junko + Charlie’s Engagement Session – I was introduced to Junko and Charlie by none other than wedding planner extraordinaire Yingka Chou; and since the first time I met them a few months ago, I knew it was going to be amazing working with Junko and Charlie. They met seven+ years ago at work and have been inseparable since then (so much that we did part of their e-session there :P).

Yesterday, while we were shooting around their work campus and later at Donald Trump Golf Course, we joked about how Charlie was the more extroverted, outgoing, and silly one while Junko was the more quiet, serious, and shy of the two ;). I just love how they weren’t hesitant to simply be themselves – laughing, hugging, kissing, and a bit of goofing off in between :).

We kid how Charlie was a big teddy bear for Junko, debated whether Junko should wear 4-inch heels in the photos, and somehow snuck in a joke about roller coaster rides at Disneyland :P. I think it’s absolutely amazing how they just “match” for each other, like how a certain key and lock would perfectly fit with one another.

Their wedding in Hawaii in November can’t come soon enough, as I’m really, really looking forward to seeing Junko and Charlie again as well as meeting their loved ones. And of course, working with the super-talented Yingka (thanks so much for introducing me to J + C)!
