Karen and Jerry got married last Fall in Vegas, but they never got the chance to take some portraits of just themselves on their big day. About a month or so ago, Karen’s sister Sabrina contacted me via e-mail about giving her sister an anniversary portrait session as a wedding gift; what a super sweet and thoughtful idea by her!

Fast forward to yesterday, when I finally had a chance to meet Karen and Jerry in person (sorry Sabrina, wished you joined us on the shoot!). They swung by my studio, where Karen changed into her beautiful dress, and we then headed out to the OC for the shoot. What I love about Karen and Jerry is they flat out are in love and weren’t afraid to show it, whether it was to me and the camera or the random folks that walked by and congratulated them on apparently just getting married…again :P.

Whether it was the way Jerry made Karen laugh or how they kissed and held one another…it was simply perfect, and I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to meet and work with them. Special thanks to my good friends Jaemi Suh for helping me out on the shoot and Gavin Wade sharing with me some of his favorite spots to shoot around OC. Also, to Sabrina for considering my photography for your wonderful sister and her husband. And most importantly, to Karen and Jerry for spending a few hours with me. Congratulations to you both, may these photos live in your hearts for many, many years.
