Kaye + Chris’ Engagement Session – These two are just way too much fun to hang out with. I met K and Chris about a year and a half ago and we’ve just kept in touch through Facebook and gatherings. When it came to talking about weddings and photography, we did everything but talk about weddings and photography (more of how Chris loves to have his photo taken and how Kaye is pretty shy of being in front of the camera – I think I got that right :P).
On Sunday, we went to Greystone Mansion, where I was the tourist friend in town with a big camera and Kaye and Chris were “showing me around”. Then we hopped on over to LACMA, where we decided it was more fun to run up an down escalators/stairs than admire the artwork. Also, Kaye ran into a SNL celebrity (Chris Parnell apparently). Rumor has it he asked for Kaye’s number but ended up leaving with a black eye and broken jaw after Chris said hello to him.
I could’ve photographed Kaye and Chris for quite some time, as they’re simply too cool and awesome to just be clients of mine. Their big yet intimate and personal day over 4th of July weekend is quickly approaching. I’m going to try hard to take more photos of Kaye than Chris, but it’s going to be tough :).
