About two weeks ago, I was contacted by Nancy’s good friend Keemia about doing a clothing line shoot for her Spring 2011 collection. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know I don’t do too many fashion/model-type shoots, but I absolutely love Keemia’s style of clothes and really wanted to photograph her stuff.

Along with my good friend Ari Zadok, whose an amazing Photoshop guru/photo retoucher, we headed out to the shoot last Thursday. After a few minutes setting up the backdrop/strobes, we were snapping away left and right. Keemia brought around 30 new styles, each unique and different from the others. I just like how she’s very bold with her style and uses features like feathers, lines, textures among other things in her design.

Unlike most clothes I see on girls (not that I really look or anything :P), Keemia’s really stand out from the rest. For the lack of better adjectives, her style to me is totally modern, hip, stylish, sexy, bold, and downright cool. Thank you Keemia for not only giving me the opportunity to work with you, but also allowing me to share these photos on my blog.

Also, special thanks to Ari for assisting me from start to finish. He not only helped me set up the entire shoot, but did the retouching on all these images. And to the model Bay for doing a spectacular job posing for the camera, she was definitely a natural :).
