These go out to my Clippers Spirit buddy Kelley :). We walked around various parts of Downtown Los Angeles yesterday getting these photos, going from restaurant tables and parking lots to construction zones and alleyways. We ended the awesome, awesome day shooting at an exclusive beach ;). I think the highlight of the entire shoot was a bunch of construction workers wanting to take a photo with me, or at least I think that’s why they kept hollering at us; oh, that and Kelley buying me some tacos. Classic!

We were fortunate enough to dodge the rain during the entire shoot. It’s been raining pretty hard (for LA standards) the past week. Kelley and I had set on this date ages ago so it would’ve been a huge disappointment had it continued to rain through yesterday. But knowing Kelley’s determination and my love for photography, we probably would’ve done the shoot even if it did rain. However, my camera equipment and her hair might’ve taken exceptions to that idea.

For those of you that don’t know Kelley, I hope you get a glimpse of her wonderful personality through these photos. My favorites are the ones of her smiling because that special smile will cheer up any sad heart. Kelley, thanks for letting me photograph you. See you on Staples Center court!
