Lara + Pablo’s Wedding: 12/30/2007

It’s amazing but also funny how certain things come together. I didn’t know about the wonderful people named Lara and Pablo three weeks before their wedding. Lara sent me an e-mail about a month ago asking me if I was available to document her wedding on the 31st of December…2007. She explained to me that what caught her attention was the fact that I used to be a photographer for the Clippers. Since Pablo also used to work for them, it made perfect sense to connect the two dots together :).

Lara and Pablo gave me a wonderful Christmas present and a great way to end 2007 and start 2008: the privilege and pleasure of photographing their wedding. I started the day with my assistant Michelle (thanks for all your help!) at a Hilton hotel close to MOLAA where Lara got ready. We then headed over to the museum in the late afternoon for the ceremony and eventually the reception.

Saying that I had a blast being a part of this wedding would be a huge understatement. Having the opportunity to photograph two kind-hearted individuals like Lara and Pablo at a very unique place like MOOLA was beyond memorable for me. I hope the photos I’ve captured give you a glimpse on the love these two share.
