Los Angeles Arboretum And Beverly Hills Via Rodeo Engagement Session Photos: Emma + Brandon

Emma + Brandon’s Engagement Session – Seriously, does it get anymore fun than this? Working with Emma and Brandon was a true joy. Every minute felt like an adrenaline rush, as they gave me the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia and Via Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills as my empty canvas to paint their e-session images. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous throughout the entire day and evening. Not to mention we pretty much had both places to ourselves, with very few people passing by. Beautiful lighting + minimal random people + wonderful couple = perfect setting for an engagement session :).

One of the many things I love about Emma and Brandon is how they were so kind enough to invite me to their gorgeous home for our meeting. We had a great time getting to know each other and discussing their wedding plans plus my photography services. I really admire how Emma and Brandon have carefully thought out and planned their big day, which will be in just about three months at an amazing location in Palm Dessert. Emma is really into photography and Brandon simply appreciates great photos, especially ones that depict more of art than just images. I always appreciate couples that really value photography for their big day.

Here’s some random thoughts: two records have been set/shattered by Emma and Brandon; I had the latest meeting, meaning we finished talking around 11:30PM last week; and speaking of last week, this is the shortest duration between a client meeting and their e-session: 8 days! Would’ve been 6 had it not rain this weekend in Los Angeles :).

I loved how we continuously interacted yesterday; from the Arboretum to Via Rodeo, Emma, Brandon, and I were constantly talking about the next scenario/pose to act out. They were real troopers, having no problem lying on the grass, running in the middle of the street, and showing a lot of affection for each other. Above everything, I just love how Emma and Brandon weren’t afraid to show their personalities to the camera and now to you. Please enjoy some of my favorites from yesterday :).

Stunning! I love your city street at night shots. You do those so well, Henry. From this set, though, my favorite is the b&w one of them behind the tree branches.
