I honestly feel like I have the best job in the world all thanks to wonderful people like Michele and Dean. They totally made my weekend worthwhile. The best part of today was having dinner with M + D after the shoot and getting to know them a little better. These crazy love birds were so fun and easy to work from the moment we started at CSLB’s Japanese garden all the way until we ended the shoot in Little Tokyo. Since their wedding theme is Japanese/Hawaiian, we all thought it would be a great idea to have the engagement session follow suit.
Both Michele and Dean are easy-going, energetic, and simply very sincere and honest individuals. I felt like I was photographing two friends I grew up with in high school. Plus the little things that they did throughout the day really touched me, such as offering me a cold beverage after we finished shooting at the Japanese Garden in 90+ degree weather, buying me ice cream at one of the Little Tokyo stores, walking me and my assistant Michelle back to our cars because we parked in a not-so-safe street, and treating me to dinner. How could I possibly not put my all into what I do when I get to work with couples like Michele and Dean? It’s the few individuals like them that inspire and motivate me everyday to do what I love most. I definitely can’t wait for their wedding in early August.
