Michelle + Jonathan’s Engagement Session – Happy Friday everyone! What a super fast but really fun week it has been. I flew out to Richmond, VA on Monday to meet up with and photograph Michelle and Jonathan. Just from e-mailing them, I knew Michelle and Jonathan were going to be super wonderful to get to know and work with.

Thanks to one of my good friends/clients Atul Gupta, who has introduced me to so many of his dear family and friends, I was able to meet Michelle and Jonathan. We hung out around Downtown Richmond for their engagement session. Although the weather was a bit warm/humid, it didn’t take away from that East Coast, small city feel. Michelle and Jonathan were so easy-going and casual, yet they didn’t hesitate to show their love for one another in front of the camera.

Michelle even brought balloons and a picnic basket filled with books and her dad’s old school camera to mix things up a bit. After the quick shoot, we all went out to dinner at this amazing restaurant right by the river. It was so packed even on a Tuesday evening! It’s just crazy how in about 4 hours, we went from strangers to good friends. It’s definitely one of the many things I love about my job! Thanks again Michelle and Jonathan for treating me like an old friend and trusting me to photograph your big day over a few e-mails. See you both again in October!
