Amy And Abe, Gotta Love Those Two Crazy Kids!

I wished I had a sneak peek photo or two of Amy and Abe‘s wedding from Friday but for the time being, I have a short video clip of them having a good time in the limo, check it out!

Also, I was so touched to get an e-mail from them this morning. Abe is no doubt the nicest (and funniest!) groom I’ve ever met. He’s beyond generous when it comes to giving his heart to others. And Amy can sing like there’s no tomorrow. Wow Amy, don’t ever give up your dream of becoming an American Idol winner. Thanks guys for taking the time to write to me right after your wedding, it brought a tear to my eyes :).

Hi Henry,

We finally got some good night rest; we realized how tired we were after everything was done; probably the same goes with you :). I think all the hard works and all the restless nights are well worth it. We had an amazing wedding party; the final day was truly beyond our expectation.

Thank you for being our photographer, we knew we made the right choice the moment we met you; we’re truly blessed. The e-session photos were awesome, we couldn’t stop admiring them!! The efforts that you put into your work truly shows your dedication and passion as a wedding photographer.

Thank you for capturing all the beautiful moments on our wedding day; I just know the pictures will turn out amazing. All the silly shots, the awkward shots, the sweet shots, the beautiful shots, everything, we know it’ll turn out great :D. We’ll happily refer you to any of our friends who are about to get married; we’ll just have to tell them to book their dates early with you, like one year in advance :D. Also please extend our gratitude to Kenny; he helped to adjust my necktie! All the groomsmen had a good and a relax photo session with him; we had fun posing around, and acting cool :).

Thanks again Henry, we’ll keep in touch; if there is anything that you need from us, please feel free to let us know, you have our contacts.

Great job and God bless you.

Richmond, VA Portrait Session Photos: Reena + Atul

Reena + Atul’s Portrait Session – We concluded the amazing Virginia portrait session tour with the people that made it all happen, Reena and Atul! We spent about an hour or so wandering around the streets of Shockoe Bottom in Downtown Richmond, finding every nook and corner for photo ops. The interesting is how quiet (as in like dead quiet!) Downtown Richmond was on a Sunday evening. I guess everyone was partied out and needed the night to rest up for the next week!

On a more serious note, I just want to extend my gratitude one more time to Reena and Atul for everything. This whole trip wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for their planning and support. I hope the families I met and the relationsips I made with them will go far beyond this trip. I already miss all the little ones and can’t wait to go back and photograph them all when their older :). Here’s a few final sneak peek images of my amazing time in Virgina!

Richmond, VA Portrait Session Photos: The Khan Family

Khan Family Portrait Session – After The Agarwals’ portrait session in the morning, I had the Khans’ later in the afternoon also at Maymont. Rehan and Henna brought their two kids Salar and little Ranya (help with the spelling guys :P). They were all filled with laughter and life, especially Salar, whose a big fan of the Steelers and giving really big smiles!

I loved the many outfits the Khans brought for the shoot and also how Rehan and Henna wanted to do a quick night time shoot at Shockoe Bottom, a nearby area filled with cobblestone streets and small shops/restaurants. Seeing Salar and Ranya, 8 and roughly 1.5 years old respectively, reminded me so much of my sister and me, who are also 6.5 years apart. It brought a big smile to my face reminiscing about the days when we were young and playing together :). I want to thank the Khans for sharing a piece of their family love with me, hope to see you all again soon!

Richmond, VA Portrait Session Photos: The Agarwal Family

Agarwal Family Portrait Session – I had the pleasure of working with another amazing family in the Agarwals this past Sunday morning. Rakesh, his wife Gauri, and their two sons Rohan and Shaun met up with me at Maymont for their portrait session. We spent a few hours exploring the many beautiful areas of this historic site.

I was excited to see Rohan and Shaun bring their Indian outfits and more so to hear that Rakesh and Gauri are expecting a third child, congrats guys! Hopefully we’ll meet again next year, I look forward to photographing you when the kids are a bit older and there’s a third one involved ;). Enjoy this little preview as I work on the final two portrait sessions of last week’s memorable trip out to Virginia!
