Ann + Vince’s Engagement Session – Here’s part numero deux of Ann and Vince’s e-session in Paris, France from last Thursday. Thanks for your patience guys! We started pretty early to cover Ann getting ready at Jean Luis David Salon and then got some more shots of the couple getting ready back at their hotel. Vince got us a taxi for three hours, so we were able to hit up various locations all across Paris. I apologize for sounding like a broken record in almost all the videos, but it was very cold and dealing with a new place was quite a challenge! However, that was also part of the fun in working on a destination engagement session :). There were certainly so many “lessons learned” that I picked up, many of which I’d love to share with you all, especially other photographers thinking of doing something similar or accompanying me on one of my future trips.
There’s so much I could say about the entire Europe experience: from a photography, historical, economical, cultural, and personal standpoint. This trip was already a blast knowing I was going to do what I love in a brand new place. But man, there’s an entire world out there waiting to be discovered and appreciated. You could spend days walking around one block in Rome or Paris and barely scratch the surface on its history and significance. I have to head out in a bit but want to thank Ann and Vince one more time for giving me this unforgettable opportunity and to Oliver for being the best assistant and friend I could’ve asked for on this trip. We’re already talking about doing another one around Northern Europe, Southeast Asia, and/or Australia plus New Zealand, so be on the lookout for that :).Hmmm…photography workshop anyone?
