Shellane + Kenji’s Engagement Session – Yesterday afternoon, I met up with Shellane and Kenji in a super small town off the I-5 called Piru. They were so adventurous enough to find a brand new place for their e-session shoot; major props for being so spontanenous! I’m not exactly sure how big Piru is in population but it looked pretty darn small. It has its own post office, barber shop, ice cream shop, and even train station! It was absolutely perfect as Shellane and Kenji wanted to capture the vintage/rustic feel of the town.
We even stopped by a small “museum” on the way back to LA, where a fruit mart, a run down gas station, truck, and even a really sharp saw awaited us :P. Talk about a really sweet place with gorgeous light and background! We ended the day at Santa Monica Beach, where Shellane and Kenji brought out the balloons and hat. These are were so much fun and easy-going. I couldn’t have asked for a more awesome couple to start the 2010 wedding season than with Shellane and Kenji, see you both again in May!
