Stephanie + Travis :: Calabasas Engagement Session Photos
| 04/01/2010 | in: E-Sessions

Stephanie + Travis’ Engagement Session – Fresh off the press guys! I drove up to Calabasas a few hours ago for these crazy kids’ e-session earlier today. You could not have asked for a more perfect couple than Stephanie and Travis. Not only are these two madly in love and aren’t afraid to show it in front of the camera, but S + T are just super, duper sweeeeet!

They met at CSUN and now teach at an elementary school. And earlier today, Stephanie and Travis both taught me a new meaning to love – their love for one another. On top of that, Travis LOVES the show Lost (sorry Stephanie); and Stephanie likes the L.A. Clippers (no seriously, she does!). So when I found out about this from them at our initial consultation, I literally pleaded to let me shoot their wedding at Calamigos this Summer :D.

Throughout the 2-hours we spent at Malibu Creek State Park today, Stephanie and Travis showed me how important photography is for their wedding (no pressure Henry) and how they’re willing to do whatever it takes for good photos (no pressure once again Henry). We hiked up and down hills, ran across a bridge, and at one point, crossed a stream with the water nearly coming up to our knees (slight exaggeration here :P).

And every now and then, Stephanie pointed out a spot and told me how that was a “Henry Chen Photography” location while Travis just rolled his eyes in annoyance. You know, the one with lines and ooberly bright sunlight ;). I couldn’t help but laugh my way through the entire session. Here’s a few of my favs…
