Sonia + Alan’s Wedding: 4/24/2009 – This past Friday’s wedding at Temecula Creek Inn featured such a beautiful bride and groom as well as a one-of-a-kind wedding party, family, and friends that I’ll forever remember and cherish. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Sonia and Alan for well over a year. By the time I showed up to their rehearsal the evening before their wedding, it felt like going to a friends’ wedding and getting to meet their guests that I’ve heard so many wonderful things about.
Sonia and Alan’s wedding was my kind of a wedding: intimate, out-of-town getting ready, ceremony and reception locations (all at one place), kick-arse wedding party, and a very yummy dinner :). But more importantly, it was the PEOPLE that made my experience truly memorable. Every. single. person. that I met was so kind and considerate. From Sonia’s sisters (and this isn’t going off some cheat sheet in front of me now :P), Alex, Araceli, Marylou, and Rosy (hope I spelled your names correctly!), to Alan’s older brother Mookie and younger sister Eisha (hope to photograph your big family in O-HIGH-O), to his best man/cousin Kenyan, the two Hectors (one of which is engaged and getting married to his lovely fiance Nisha in May of 2010 – sooo ready for your big day!), and finally to THE BEST man of honor Jorge (stole the show and the bouquet for that matter :P)…and not to forget the unsung heroine of the day Mickey aka the coordinator/Sonia’s good friend. Seriously, I love these guys and gals! I can’t thank you all enough for welcoming me into your lives and allowing me to document all the beautiful moments of Sonia and Alan’s wedding.
And if you need further proof to be convinced on just how much fun I had at this wedding, please check out the videos from the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. But seriously, Sonia and Alan are two amazing individuals. They have so much love in their hearts and shared it with all their guests. I was fortunate enough to get a piece of that love as both Sonia and Alan treated me like their friend all day long. Here’s a few of my favorites for the day, can’t wait to have you guys see the rest very soon!
