I’ve been hearing so many wonderful things about The Guggenheim Grotto from my good friend and wedding planner Trini. Not only do Mick and Kevin produce some amazing work (you have to listen to their songs on their website or even on YouTube), but they’ve been so generous to allow IOBON Cinema and I to use their music in our own (wedding) work. Some of my favorite songs from The Guggenheim Grotto are Her Beautiful Ideas, Told You So, and the one from Soraya and Viral’s Fusion video, Fee Da Da Dee.

I finally had a chance to meet Mick and Kevin yesterday while working with Trini, Andrew, and La Dawna in Downtown Long Beach. We had an absolute blast shooting video and stills for The Guggenheim Grotto. Andrew, La Dawna put together a quick music video of the guys around in the alley ways and on the streets around Trini’s studio. Check back later this evening or tomorrow for the video, but here are a few stills to show you what we were up to yesterday afternoon. We’ll be at their show later tonight at Fingerprints in Long Beach, hopefully shooting some stills and videos. Show starts at 7PM inside the record store so please come by if you’re in the neighborhood and want to check out The Guggenheim Grotto in person :).
